The D-Pad started out as a pre-recorded podcast based in Worcester, Massachusetts. A spinoff from the PodSmiths Network's flagship series, Open Lounge, this show focused on video games, gaming culture, and general nerdy news. It ran for 43 episodes, with frequent gaps in release following its Halloween special. It returned with a consistent schedule briefly in Spring 2012 before its finale at the end of May. In September 2012, it was rebooted on UNregular Radio.
