Jakarta, Indonesia is in a panic as the evil Kaiju known as Agon, the Atomic Dragon attacks it. He laughs as he breaks a ship in half and then releases burning napalm from his mouth, which sets the sea ablaze and starts spreading to the docks.
Suddenly, it starts to rain, which washes most of the napalm out to sea. Agon gets struck repeatedly by lightning, causing him to stagger. He growls and stands up just as a war cry that sounds like whale song echoes. A large figure bursts out of the sea and tackles him. In a rage, Agon faces the newcomer, who starts to channel electricity through her body.
A surprised dockworker mistakes the newcomer for Godzilla, but some of his older coworkers slap him in the head and correct him. This here is Raiga. Although she does indeed have a similar size and body shape to Godzilla, her hide is sapphire blue and covered with red spots with which she absorbs and emits electricity, and she has aquatic fins instead of Godzilla's spines. Raiga almost smirks as she gets into a boxer's stance. She hasn't had a good fight ever since the battle at Solgell Island, and she hopes Agon can last long enough to make this interesting.
Meanwhile, in a small town in Equestria, Starlight Glimmer frantically packs her things. The last week has been hectic ever since she heard on the radio her cousin Moonbeam Glimmer denouncing Godzilla and his kind, and then several Kaiju attacks. Starlight believed Moonbeam's warnings, and now she is on her way to meet Chrysalis. Chrysalis had a talk with Xenilla a while back, and now Starlight hopes the information he shared will allow them to plan out a way to stop Godzilla.
Raiga charges her fists with electricity and then peppers Agon with punches. He blasts her with his napalm, but she barely even feels it. He tries to bite her throat, but she grabs his head and electrocutes him. He thrashes in agony but manages to knock her away with his tail. As she staggers away, he suddenly buries her under a literal avalanche of burning napalm, until she can no longer be seen. Believing she is down for the count, he turns his attention to the city and starts blasting it, setting several buildings on fire. An angry Raiga rises and delivers an electrically-charged uppercut that fractures his jaw and knocks several of his teeth out.
Although she is in pain from her burns, she is happy she is in a real fight. After she draws in a few lightning bolts to replenish her strength, she grabs his tail and swings him around several times to build momentum, then lets go, sending him flying into the distance.
She absorbs a few more lightning bolts, then expresses disappointment that the fight is already over. She moves toward the city and the citizens panic, but she rolls her eyes and start scooping up water to pour on the fires. She muses that she was created by the ancient civilizations to fight the forces of evil, but most of her present enemies are too weak to hold her interest for long. And now she can't ask Godzilla Junior to spar with her because he's stuck on another world. She remembers Mothra Lea scolding her to take her battles more seriously and not treat them as entertainment and gets annoyed. Is it her fault that only someone on Xenilla or Destroyah's level can seriously threaten her life?
She is pulled out of her musings when Agon comes back, more pissed off than ever. Raiga winces when she briefly imagines another destroyed city, then decides she should take this seriously and end it. As Agon approaches, she gathers energy into her palms. She issues a warning for him to leave or die, but he ignores it. She slams her hands together, unleashing a massive beam that boils the water and reduces Agon to a skeleton.
Exhausted, she turns and sees that rescue teams have arrived. Although she won, she can't help but be reminded of her greatest failure. Ages ago, she was tasked with guarding Atlantis but failed to stop the Gyaos from destroying it. She remembers Mothra telling her not to blame herself, but it doesn't make the pain go away. This is why she always throws herself into fights, so that she'll always be there to stop the bad guys.
She dives into the sea and settles on the bottom. Ever since the incident with Dimension Tide, she is one of the strongest heroic Kaiju left, and they've all had their hands full dealing with the remnants of Xenilla's faction and the other evil ones. She falls asleep, praying that her lost friends are all right and that they come home soon. She doesn't notice a portal open up next to her.
Starlight Glimmer hops off a train somewhere in the north and wanders the forest. The Changelings had given her a map of the area and she should be able to cut through the forest and make it to Manehattan before nightfall. Chrysalis is her teacher and she won't let her down. Suddenly, a huge wave of water flows through the area. She is able to dodge it until it all flows into a creek. Confused, she notes from the smell that it is sea water and yet they are nowhere near the ocean. Some fish flop on the ground and among them is a viperfish, which is supposed to live in the deep ocean.
She looks around, trying to find where the water came from, when she sees a two meter long figure on the ground caked in mud. She sees a fin and what seems to be reptilian skin, but when she sees a hoof, she rushes over to help.
Five minutes later, a groggy Raiga keeps her eyes closed as she notices she's now on dry land and water is being splashed in her face to help get the mud off her. She rubs her face and is shocked to find her fingers and hind legs are gone. She tries to open her eyes and is blinded by the light. Starlight stops splashing water on her and asks if she is okay. Raiga assumes a human is the one speaking to her and slurs her words from grogginess. Starlight says she's never met one of the Muse sisters before and asks if they usually bring in water when they travel overland. Raiga says she doesn't know what she talking about and asks what is going on and where is she. Starlight introduces herself and says they are a few kilometers away from Hollow Shades. Raiga makes fun of her name and then gets shocked, wondering how a human could possibly understand her language. She opens her eyes again and is stunned to see a pony standing before her. She says, "Okay what the fu-"
