Calling Parents by Their Name, First-Name Basis and They Call Me Mister Tibbs: In one scene, Greg calls his parents by their first names, "'Mornin', Carol. Mornin', Mike." Mike, with raised eyebrows, says that kids calling their parents by their first names might be the "in" thing for some households, but around the Brady household, he is still expected to address his parents as "Mom" and "Dad."
Horrible Camping Trip: The family is planning its annual camping trip, which Greg initially declines to go on because — since he's 15 and needs to be a teenager — it's "too childish." Greg eventually comes to his senses, agrees to go and has a great time.
Retcon: Later on, with the attic room that Greg wants to move into. In this episode, Mike says he'd approve the move if he were 2 feet tall! A possible explanation is that the writers hadn't yet truly established a series bible, as in the very next season, with the episode "Jan's Aunt Jenny," the attic is walk in; or that Mike had the house modified for an unfinished room/walk-in attic. However, it was eventually established that the unfinished room was always walk-in with the expectation that one of the older kids would eventually move up there ... which Greg would do at the end of the fourth season.
