With Amy away, Sheldon's old admirer Dr. Ramona Nowitzki (Riki Lindhome) begins to hang around him at Caltech and later his home. The rest of the gang become convinced she is pursuing Sheldon, alarming Amy. They do their best to keep her away from him, even following her to her car after dinner as a group. Sheldon doesn't believe Ramona is romantically interested in him, but when he asks her about it, she kisses him. Sheldon immediately departs and flies to New Jersey, proposing to Amy the second she answers the door.

- The Bus Came Back: Dr. Ramona Nowitzki from the second season returns... and is still interested in Sheldon.
- Cliffhanger: After Dr. Nowitzki kisses Sheldon, he goes all the way to New Jersey. He knocks on Amy's door, she opens the door to meet Sheldon... who is on one knee and proposes to her. We see her shocked face. That's where Season 10 ends.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Amy is furious that Ramona is flirting with Sheldon. Upon finding out about Ramona spending a tad too much time with Sheldon, she furiously calls Penny and Bernadette and yells "I gave you one job! Keep an eye on him!"
- Mood Whiplash: Sheldon civilly confronts Ramona about her alleged interest in him, asking if she's romantically interested in him. She implies that she is, to which Sheldon begins to re-assert that he has a girlfriend... only to get cut off when Remona plants a kiss right on him. He has a blank expression during the kiss. He excuses himself and leaves the room. We then see him boarding a taxi, getting on a flight, and happily watching SpongeBob SquarePants. Then he arrives at Amy's apartment and knocks on the door. She answers and opens the door... where we see Sheldon on one knee and a ring in his hand. He asks if she'll marry him and we see Amy's stunned expression.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: The guys become concerned when Ramona touches Sheldon's hand and he doesn't put disinfectant on it afterwards.
