Tyrone is a cowboy on his way to a rodeo in Texas, while Pablo, Uniqua and Tasha traverse the old west for a bandit who stole Uniqua's jump rope.

• Dark Is Not Evil: Tyrone wears a black hat and essentially steals Uniqua's jump rope, but is willing to help the others and bears no ill intentions whatsoever.
• Dramatic Irony: While the audience sees Tyrone take Uniqua's jump rope and head off to Texas while inadvertently dropping apples causing the other horses to follow, Uniqua, Pablo, and Tasha are unaware of this and don't find out Tyrone was behind it all, other than Uniqua retrieving her jump rope.
• Everything is Big in Texas: Tyrone is headed to a hoedown in Texas.
• Odd Name Out: The horses are named Pal, Princess, Old Paint, and Harvey.
• "Setting Off" Song: Tyrone has "Texas, Here I Come" as he heads for Texas with the gang's horses.
