Elizabeth and Philip meet up with Andrew Larrick (Lee Tergesen), the naval officer Claudia mentioned to them. Posing as CIA security officials, they ask about Emmett and Leanne, and Larrick denies killing them, though he admits he wished he did. Elizabeth and Philip tell Claudia they believe Larrick, and will wait until they get the information about him and the operation he's involved in (Marital Eagle, which involves training Nicaraguan contras) before they take him out.
Elizabeth gets Lucia, the Central American agent she had helped, to distract the Congressman's aide she had been with so Elizabeth can sneak into the Congressman's office. Once the job is done, Elizabeth tells Lucia she needs to "tie up loose ends", and so Lucia arranges for the aide to overdose again and kill himself.
Oleg tells Stan he wants all of the FBI surveillance logs on him, which Stan is able to get.
Elsewhere, Paige quits the volleyball team, which upsets Elizabeth and Philip, especially when they hear she's more interested in the youth group at her church.

- Shout-Out: Sandra and Matthew talk about John Belushi's death, and quote a line from Animal House.
- Where Everybody Knows Your Flame: The club Philip finds Larrick at feels like a stereotypical gay bar shown in movies and TV shows, though that may also be how Philip views it.
- Vodka Drunkenski: When Kate and Philip meet at a bar early in the day, she orders a vodka. When Philip points out it's a little early for that, she points out, "It's a bar."
