El Guante Blanco thinks their team could use another swordsman and so Puss seeks out the Thriffith and the Goodsword, but the two have had a falling out and Puss is eager to become the Goodsword's new wielder.

- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Being wielded is treated as being similar to a committed relationship.Scimitar: Really Goodsword? Two swordsmen in one day? My, you do get around!
Goodsword: Oh you're a fine one to talk, you'll have any fist that will take you! - Fountain of Youth: Giving power to anyone who wields it, the Goodsword is capable of restoring El Guante Blanco to his youth.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Puss defeats El Moco by launching him away, all the way to the mountain where the Scimitar is.
- Overly Long Gag: Once the team is assembled, Puss places a lot of priority on giving their team a good name, even though nobody else really seems to care. He continues to contemplate names through the end credits, and will be seen still contemplating this in the beginning of the next episode.
