When Casey Jones discovers a hypercube in an abandoned spaceship, he accidentally unleashes a fourth dimensional being called Wyrm.

Tropes:

  • Batter Up!: Wyrm attacks the turtles with a baseball bat when they attempt to fight him rather than release him with a third wish.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: The three wishes are used by accident.
    • Casey wishes for something interesting to happen, causing a zombie horde to attack. Justified because the heroes didn't know about Wyrm by then.
    • Donnie wishes for Casey not to be so stupid, which turns Casey the smartest being in the universe. To the point that, according to him, the smartest thing he can do is join "the winning side". Subverted because that ends up becoming useful.
    • Raph wishes for an anti-Wyrm weapon but it doesn't work because using any of the three wishes to harm Wyrm is against the rules.
    • Averted with the bonus wish Casey tricks Wyrm into granting because Casey uses it as a Reset Button Ending.
  • Fake Defector: Casey claims that as the smartest being, it makes sense to team up with the most powerful being. It was a ploy to gain Wyrm's trust and one more wish.
  • Hands Go Down: After Wyrm explains that he must grant three wishes and that there are rules about what they can be used for, Mikey raises his hand. Wyrm says that wishing for more wishes is against the rules and Mikey lowers his hand.
  • Hard Light: the holograms in Fugitoid's Holodeck.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Wyrm is defeated when Casey wishes to have never found Wyrm's prison cube in the first place, and Wyrm has no choice but to grant it. Doubled when you consider that Casey was able to wish this because Donnie had (accidentally) wished Casey wasn't so stupid, causing Wyrm to make him the smartest being in the universe.
  • Jackass Genie: Wyrm establishes himself as this the second he reveals the zombie attack was due to Casey wishing something interesting would happen on the ship.
  • Jerkass Gods: When truly free of his prison, Wyrm starts using his power to destroy space.
  • Matter Replicator: The "Think-a-Food Machine" which can create foodstuffs based on the mental desires of the user.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters: Wyrm has a tentacle for one of his legs, worms for hair and a head reminiscent of a clam.
  • Mythology Gag: Wyrm's name and design comes from one of the toys from the original series, however he is FAR more dangerous than that Wyrm.
  • Organ Autonomy: The Astro-Zombies continue to function even after being dismembered.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: "Astro-zombies" are created from Casey's first wish.
  • Reality Warping: As expected from a chaos god.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Wyrm's prison was this (Though with a tad of Artifact of Doom) with Casey becoming a bit obsessed with it.
  • Shout-Out:
    • When Casey becomes the smartest being in the universe, he turns blue with white eyes... not unlike Doctor Manhattan.
    • The Turtles' new favourite cartoon is a Pastiche of Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos, with some Rambo thrown in.
      • While Chris Bradford was always a Chuck Norris Expy, he even makes a Chuck Norris-style fact about himself.
      • The characters themselves are Expies of various characters; Bill Reyno is Too Much, who is, himself, a parody of Short Round, Master C is Mr. T, and Sumo Glen is Tabe, but named after Glen Murakami.
      • The moniker of "2 Ruff Krew" is likely a reference to 2 Live Crew.
    • The hologram is an obvious Shout Out to Star Trek, though it makes a Super Mario coin collection sound effect.
    • Wyrm destroying multiple stars and planets to classical music brings V for Vendetta to mind.
  • So Bad, It's Good: In-Universe, Mikey's reaction to "Chris Bradford's 2 Ruff Krew".
Mikey: It's so lame it's awesome!
  • Squashed Flat: Mikey suffers this when Wyrn strikes him with a giant mallet.
  • Talk Like a Pirate: Wyrm briefly affects this manner of speech while fighting the turtles, and conjures up a bicorne and a cutlass to go with it.
  • Three Wishes: What Wyrm promises.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: The entire episode is essentially a remake of "Meet the Wigglenog", an episode from Ciro Nieli's previous show, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!. The Wigglenog himself makes a cameo when the Fugitoid looks up the Wyrm's info.
  • Wishing for More Wishes: Averted. Mikey thinks of this, but Wyrm cuts him off before he can even say it, saying it's against the rules.
