While attempting to track down the Triceratons and recover the pieces to the black hole generator, the turtles receive a distress call from Mona Lisa. She tells them that G'Thraka, aka Sal Commander, has been captured by Lord Dregg, and the turtles swiftly decide to launch a rescue mission. Upon arriving on Dregg's home planet, it is quickly revealed that the entire thing was a ruse. The Salamandrians had agreed to help Dregg capture the turtles, in exchange for calling off the armada that threatened their homeworld. However, Dregg reneges on his end of the deal. With the help of Fugitoid and April, the turtles and Salamandrians are able to escape Dregg's fortress.
- Amusing Injuries: Donatello's face becomes grotesquely swollen after being stung.
- Anguished Declaration of Love: After rescuing the turtles, the Salamadrians attempt to redeem themselves, by holding off Dregg's army while the turtles escape. In what she no doubt thinks will be the last thing she says to him, Mona Lisa tells Raph that she loves him before running headlong at Dregg's forces.
- Continuity Nod:
- Casey brings up how he was stuck in the Kraathatrogon's stomach.
- Raph's fear of cockroaches is brought up a few times.
- Mikey says Lord Dregg's fortress looks like something straight out of Crognard the Barbarian.
- Fed to the Beast: The Turtles and Casey are thrown into a fleshy pit with a Scorpinoid to be killed and eaten.
- Heroic BSoD: Discovering that Mona Lisa betrayed him and his brothers, Raphael is utterly devastated. So much so, that he cannot summon the will to fight. However, he manages to snap out of it as soon as he hears Mona Lisa's Anguished Declaration of Love.
- I Lied: Lord Dregg tells Mona and Sal that his deal to spare their planet after luring the turtles in was just so they'd cooperate.
- Off with His Head!: Raph slices off Lord Dregg's head in his Roaring Rampage of Revenge, revealing him to be a Cyborg. He's okay though.
- Scary Scorpions: Lord Dregg rides one when he's chasing the turtles.
- Shout-Out: Armaggon's fate. A badass intergalactic Bounty Hunter falling into a toothy hole in the ground? Sounds familiar.
- You Shall Not Pass!: Mona Lisa and Sal Commander attempt to do this.
- You Said You Would Let Them Go: Mona and Sal after Lord Dregg decides not to spare their planet.
