In the very last episode, Dregg is determined to destroy the Turtles once and for all, by a powerful weapon he constructed himself.

This episode has examples of

  • And the Adventure Continues: The episode ends with Leonardo declaring that the Turtles can handle just about anything, due to Splinter having deemed them his equals.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • Krang's android body, which hasn't been seen since the Season 7 finale "Shredder Triumphant", makes it's grand comeback here.
    • The Technodrome, which also hasn't been seen since "Turtle Trek", returns albeit being heavily damaged and deserted, except for the monsters residing in it. The original Technodrome theme even briefly plays.
  • Contrived Coincidence: An alien that looks exactly like Krang's android body just happens to be residing in the now abandoned Technodrome.
  • Grand Finale: Of the original 1987 continuity. Or at least until Turtles Forever, 13 years later, which sees this version of the Turtles returning (sadly with all different voice actors); their cameo appearances and crossover episodes with the 2012 series (which did have the original voice actors).
  • Motive Decay: Mung complains that Dregg's obsession with the Turtles is getting in the way of their plan to conquer Earth.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Dregg's exosuit allows him to take the forms of the aliens whose powers he usurped earlier.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: We see the Technodrome, but there's no sign of Shredder, Krang, or Bebop and Rocksteady.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Dregg implies this to Mung by threatening to destroy him and anyone else who stands between him and his plan to get rid of the Turtles.
