Leonardo follows a distress signal and finds himself lost. Meanwhile, Krang tries to blow the Earth off of its axis to free the Technodrome from the arctic.

- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Splinter (in his own way) basically tells Leonardo that he could have avoided all of the episode's confusion if he had just left a note.
- Living Dinosaurs: Turns out that some dinosaurs had fled to the Earth's core to escape extinction and they return to the surface to procure endangered species to keep them from going extinct. They can also talk.
- Prequel: Is set right before the events of "Rock Around The Block".
