Thanks to the Shredder, the Turtles procure a bag of cookies with anti-mutagen. Excited at the prospect of living like a human, Michelangelo eats one of them. Meanwhile, April is doing an expose on crime and winds up getting involved with Bebop and Rocksteady's old street-gang.

- Humanity Ensues: In spite of the warnings, Michelangelo eats one of Shredder's cookies and turns human.
- Plot Hole: The anti-mutagen in Shredder's cookies would have turned the turtles human. This is in spite of previous episodes that claim that anti-mutagen would have instead turned them back into normal turtles. Not only that, but Splinter insists that the turtles turning humans would make them lose all of their ninja skills and their "powers," whatever those are.
- Toxic Phlebotinum: It's revealed that Shredder's anti-mutagen is unstable and explodes after a while.
