When their mixed nuts get stolen by a squirrel, the Titans are initially upset that solving the problem with violence is socially unacceptable, but then realize that everyone loves cartoon violence.
- Amusing Injuries: Subverted, Cyborg shows why cartoons don't work in real life by using Robin as the test dummy. He's crying in pain and has lost teeth.
- Art Shift: The episode goes through two. The first is like something out of Tex Avery, then changing to an Animesque one.
- Hong Kong Dub: The "Teen Titronz" section has the Titans speak like this.
- Idea Bulb: After their initial plan to get revenge on the squirrel ends in failure, Cyborg gets one as he realizes that the "hunter" characters in a cartoon are always the ones that get humiliated by the "hunted". When Beast Boy struggles to understand, Cyborg then moves the lightbulb over him.
- Ocular Gushers: Near the end of the episode, the Titans think they actually killed the Screwball Squirrel with their violence, and all cry streams of tears in regret. It turns out to have been a trap by the squirrel so they'd let their guard down.
- Screwball Squirrel: The Titans deal with a pesky squirrel who stole their nuts.
