"Brett's Dead"
The employees have a memorial service for Brett, who supposedly died in the tornado. Amy worries about how Dina is coping, Mateo and Cheyenne pretend to mourn Brett, and Jonah wonders how Garrett ended up in his wheelchair.

- It Always Rains at Funerals: It's raining during the memorial service held for Brett.
- Line-of-Sight Alias: Cheyenne names Brett's hypothetical horse Cloud Tie, because she was looking at Glenn's Cloud Tie.
- Never Found the Body: Glenn says that Brett could still be alive because they never definitively found his body. He's right.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Despite the tornado heading straight for him, Brett somehow managed to get into his car and drive home unscathed.
- Take That!: Cheyenne and Mateo are skeptical that anyone will buy a box set of the second and third Matrix movies.
- Trauma Button: The rain storm, as well as a loud crashing noise, set off Dina's anxiety stemming from the tornado.
