The Warden tries to make money by selling the prisoner's body parts.

"Mayhem Donor" contains examples of:

  • A Day in the Limelight: The Doctor gets a little more of a role in the staff, starting with this episode.
  • Flipping the Bird: The Warden has the Superjail Mechadrill do this to taunt the Doctor's monster.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: When the Twins teleport off and cause the barrels to explode, the smoke forms into the shape of an evil skull.
    • As the Superjail Mechadrill travels underground, Ash and the ghost of Cancer (from Mr. Grumpy-Pants) can be seen hiding out in a burrow, with Ash smoking and Cancer reading a book to him.
    • The two inmates involved in towel-slapping are initially drawn as the gay inmates (to be named "Jean" and "Paul" in a few episodes) for a few frames, but then their appearances change just before the organ monster grabs them (with "Jean"'s tattoos all vanishing and "Paul"'s dreadlocks and head size changing) and slaughters them. This was probably a late fix and to avoid a continuity error, as Jean and Paul were later needed alive (and not dismembered) for the Mechadrill sequence. Not that it matters much in either case.
  • Humongous Mecha: The Superjail Mechadrill, a shout out to the mecha from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
  • Organ Autonomy: Big time example, with all the disembodied organs and body parts of the inmates acting of their free will and communicating, to the point where they wind up in a messy brawl.
  • Pixellation: Used when the organ monster is attempting to grab Alice by the crotch. Although it isn't as explicit without the blur on the DVD, the censors are said to be very particular if her skirt bulge is drawn too large.
  • Stock Footage: Several of the decapitated heads and limbs inside the organ monster are the same drawings duplicated over and over to fill the space.
    • Alice's stock character model is reused when she's first walking into the Doctor's room, and seems to have also been used for the scene where the Warden's convincing her to help slaughter inmates.
    • The first and last shots of the Twins appear to be redrawn or traced from their stock artwork.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Fatty dies once more, this time by the Doctor's organ monster grabbing him by his crotch and messily pulling him through a shower drain to integrate him with the rest of the organ hivemind.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Jared actually earns some respect from the Warden at the end.
