Strong Bad: (singing) Super great, super great... Check your email!

The beginning of the end of the Tandy 400: Mike W. misses the days when Strong Bad would answer emails without some sort of gimmick. Then, the computer spontaneously malfunctions and explodes. The impact sends Strong Bad flying across the room and through the wall into Strong Sad's room.

Strong Sad: Oh, geez! Are you okay?

Strong Bad: What, yeah, no, I'm fine! Nothing happened, I'm fine!

Strong Sad: Did your terrible computer explode?

Strong Bad: No, shut up!

Strong Bad promptly tries to hit Strong Sad up for a loan of nine hundred dollars to fix the Tandy.

Strong Sad: I hope that's for a new computer. You could get one like yours at a garage sale for, like, (cracking up) fifteen dollars.
Strong Bad: I said shut up! I liked that computer. (crawls back through the hole in Strong Sad's wall)

Tropes

• The Alleged Computer: This is the first time where problems with Strong Bad's computers (besides being hilariously outdated) crop up — in this case, spontaneously exploding.
• Ash Face: Strong Bad gets a face full of ash due to the explosion.
• Blatant Lies: Strong Bad says his computer did not explode.
• Blown Across the Room: Strong Bad is sent flying across the computer room, and through the wall of Strong Sad's room, by the Tandy exploding.
• Irony: Mike W. told Strong Bad that he liked it better when Strong Bad simply answered the email without any gimmicks. After Strong Bad answers by expressing his agreement and supposedly ending the email, his computer explodes.
• Stuff Blowing Up: The Tandy 400 suddenly malfunctions and explodes violently.
• Wham Episode: Courtesy of the Tandy exploding, marking the beginning of the end for that computer.
