Sabine and Tristan are on a covert mission to free Mandalore, but they risk everything to destroy an Imperial outpost that has defaced a symbolic statue of Tarre Vizsla.

Tropes Include:

  • Ascended Fanon: The episode confirms the fan theory that Tristan is Sabine's younger brother.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Tristan teases Sabine for apologizing to the statue as she cuts the girders off, but when the outpost goes down he notes that the statue looks happy.
  • Monumental Damage: Downplayed. The Empire didn't damage the statue, exactly, but they did build an outpost around it, disrespecting it all the same.
  • The Reveal:
    • Sabine calls Tristan her "baby brother" and mentions that he was a baby when their father took them to see the statue yet she remembers the trip, indicating that Tristan is her younger brother as opposed to the common assumption that he was older than her.
    • Sabine mentions that Tarre Vizsla once ruled over Mandalore. That combined with the fact that he has a statue of himself on Mandalore indicates that he was accepted by his people despite being a Jedi.
  • Rule of Symbolism: Sabine uses Tarre's own saber to free him from the outpost.
  • Serious Business: Sabine halts a mission so she can tear down an outpost defacing an important monument. Tristan comes to agree with her.
