Leia and R2-D2 must free Chewie from the clutches of a ferocious wampa.
Tropes:
- Badass in Distress: Chewie is captured by a wampa.
- Dug Too Deep: Chewie was digging corridors and broke into a wampa cave.
- Hollywood Darkness: The cave is fairly visble but meant to be pitch black, with the lights from Leia's lantern and R2's search light showing what the characters can see.
- Just in Time: The door finally powers up and closes barely a second before the wampa gets through.
- Mythology Gag: An excised subplot from Empire featured a wampa that had gotten loose in Echo Base, and which the rebels had managed to trap behind a sealed door with a warning sign on it. A famous deleted scene had C-3PO deliberately removing the warning sign from the door, so that when the Snowtroopers invaded one of them was grabbed and eaten by the wampa as soon as he opened the door.
- Oh, Crap!: 3P0 calls Leia's wrist comm at the exact wrong time, waking the wampa.
- We Need a Distraction: Leia offers to distract the wampa while Chewie and R2 repair the door.
