Moon slowly regains her memories and adjusts to Eclipsa being queen, but Star doesn't know how to inform her of Eclipsa's plan to free Globgor.

- Aesop Amnesia: When Star panickedly tries to keep Moon from finding out about Globgor too soon, Marco points out that she's supposed to have already learned not to avoid her problems.
- But Now I Must Go: Moon and River choose to depart at the end of the episode, due to still not trusting Eclipsa. River plans to build a yurt for them to live out of, presumably somewhere in the wilderness.
- Call-Back:
- Star refers to the time Ludo spent at the Monster Temple, and Moon recalls his "turns out you're dead" line from "Toffee".
- Eclipsa worries that Moon may already remember what transpired between them in "Tough Love".
- Hidden Depths: Moon is revealed to be a very skilled guitar player, able to play in both a classical and heavy metal style.
- I Choose to Stay: Star declines Moon's offer to go with her and River, due to wanting to stay and help Eclipsa stay on the right track.
- Milholland Relationship Moment: Star is worried Moon will freak out about Eclipsa trying to free Globgor, but she takes it quite well. That said, it was likely one reason she didn't trust Eclipsa enough to stay with her.
- The Pig-Pen: River is at his absolute filthiest at this point. He even has a bird nesting on his hair.
- Waterfall Shower: River is made to take a bath under a waterfall to wash away the months of accumulated filth. He tearfully bids farewell to the various bugs in his body as they float away, calling them "my little angels."
- We Need a Distraction: Star tells Marco to create a distraction, so he proceeds to fall down a flight of stairs, but getting himself injured/hurt on purpose was NOT what Star meant (the stairs had just been waxed).
