Janna joins Star and Marco during Quest Buy's going-out-of-business sale.

- And There Was Much Rejoicing: Marco cheers at the news of Quest Buy's pending closure, though he changes his tune when he realizes he won't be able to replace his wallet if it breaks.
- The Bus Came Back: Janna has somehow returned to Mewni, leaving Marco unsettled.
- Evil Knockoff: Janna wishes for an army of hundreds of evil Marcos named Ocram before leaving the stock room.
- Heroic Willpower: Star casually walks herself, Marco and Janna, out of the storeroom without succumbing to it. Marco wants to go back and save the baby hims, but Quest Buy closes and vanishes into thin air before he can.
- It Amused Me: Janna's stated reason for creating baby Marco with wheels for hands.
- Lotus-Eater Machine: The backroom of Quest Buy makes whatever you want spontaneously come into existence to get people to stay in there as it turns their brain "into goo".
- Nightmare Fetishist: Janna continues to prove herself as one, as the stock room gives her various macabre things including a monster hat, a skull beanbag chair, an army of evil Marcos named Ocram, and of course, Baby Marcos with wheels for hands.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Janna wearing Stu's Quest Buy shirt is sufficient to fool the other sloth in the storeroom into thinking she's him.
- Retail Riot: It gets so bad at Quest Buy that a stock sloth carrying boxes of wallets gets mobbed and is Stripped to the Bone.
- Self-Inflicted Hell: Despite being in cages, the other people who went in the backroom are allowed to leave — they just don't want to leave their stuff behind.
- Shoot the Messenger: Star beats up the mailwoman delivering news about Quest Buy, assuming it's another ransom message (nevermind neither being her fault). She isn't upset, as she's used to this kind of thing, and Star just slams the door on her instead of apologizing.
- Shout-Out:
- The customer that comes out of and back into their cage looks basically like a human version of Princess Bubblegum.
- The animal figures on the music player sound like and resemble Alvin and the Chipmunks.
- The Unreveal: How did Janna get to Mewni without dimensional scissors? She's not telling and Star doesn't care.
