Brittney Wong has a birthday party and she invites all the cool kids. Even though she wasn't invited, Star drags Marco to the party, which is on a moving bus. Since Marco gets carsick easily, he has a miserable time, though he cheers up when Jackie starts talking to him. Brittney repeatedly orders Star to leave, but Star insists on showing her and the others a good time with her magic.

Ludo and his minions hijack the bus and try to drive it into a portal leading to his realm. Star fights them off, while Marco stops the bus from entering the portal by causing it to crash. Ludo and his minions retreat. Brittney says her party was a disaster, but the others say it was the best party ever.

Tropes:

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: A classmate asks Star to "zap" him and is happy when she turns him into a pinata. Unfortunately, it's someone's feliz cumpleanos...
  • Bigger on the Inside: The bus' interior has room for tables, sound systems, a big fight scene, etc.
  • Bilingual Bonus: When Star knocks the two-headed monster off the bus, he lands in the car of a little old Japanese man who announces (in Japanese) that he is eighty, but still healthy/energetic.
  • Brick Joke: Marco gets nauseous when a party guest holds rotten oysters under his nose. Ludo later binges on the oysters and has to throw up from food poisoning.
  • Butterface: Brittney calls Star this when the latter is holding her hand out for a party invitation.
  • Compressed Vice: In this episode, Star and Marco go to a party that takes place on a party bus, and it turns out that Marco is incredibly susceptible to motion sickness. It's so bad that even when the bus is stopped in traffic he gets ill. This has never been mentioned before or since, not even the times where he rode with his family in their car up to a campsite in "The Other Exchange Student" or in the Season 2 episode "Friend-enemies" where he partied in a bus, sang karaoke, and even rode around on a white tiger (sort of) with absolutely no problems whatsoever.
  • Cue the Flying Pigs: Brittney says she'll invite Star to her party when pigs fly, so Star creates a flying pig with her wand. Brittney still won't invite her, and the pig is insulted.
  • Fantasy Helmet Enforcement: When Ludo and his minions hijack a bus, the minion who takes the wheel spends time to buckle up and check the mirrors before driving. Ludo complains about him wasting time.
  • Friend to All Living Things: Star is this, even working hard to make Brittney happy at her party.
  • Good Cannot Comprehend Evil: Star cannot understand why all her magic to make Brittney's party better is making Brittney miserable.
  • Green Around the Gills: Marco is carsick and gets greener and greener in the face as the bus trip lengthens.
  • Hollywood Tone-Deaf: Brittney's singing voice is impossibly horrible as she does karaoke for her guests.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Played With. Ludo thanks Brittney, calling her nice, when she hopes that he destroys Star.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Brittney is a pure Alpha Bitch to all her guests and to Star and Marco for crashing the party, but even a nice person would be put out by an uninvited guest that takes over the party and then endangers everyone with her monster enemies.
  • Kick the Dog: When Star magicks another laser puppy, Brittney just whips it out of her hands with her hair.
    Star: [thinking] Not cool.
  • Lampshade Hanging: When the bus flips and lands at the conclusion of the battle, all the students run out cheering the awesome party, while the monsters stumble out in pain. "Why did only we get hurt?", one asks.
  • Literal-Minded: Star:
    • See Cue the Flying Pigs. When Brittney walks away in a huff, forgetting to tell Star "no," Star thinks she's invited.
    • Marco on seeing the bus says he gets carsick. Star reassures him that it's not a car, it's a bus.
  • Low Clearance: The giraffe monster winds up being embedded in a bridge thanks to his long neck catching it while on the bus.
  • Magic Skirt: Star lies upside down on a couch, with her skirt remaining perfectly vertical.
  • Malicious Misnaming: Brittney makes it a point to insult "Star Butterface" and "Barfo Diaz".
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Ludo notices Star crashing the party, and endangers everyone on the bus by trying to hijack it.
  • Not on the List: Brittney repeatedly points out she didn't invite Star and Marco, but everyone ignores her.
  • Pass the Popcorn: When the fight starts, Ludo and Brittney both sit and sulk, watching. Ludo thanks Brittney when she hopes Star will lose.
  • Pink Is Feminine: Star changes into a pink dress for the party.
  • Rocket Jump: To catch Brittney's party bus, Star creates an explosion to propel herself and Marco.
  • Spoiled Brat: Brittney. She's whining long before Star crashes the party about how she wanted a private jet, not a bus.
  • Stalker Shrine: A girl who is only known as "StarFan13" has decorated her locker with pictures of Star. Parodied when it's revealed seconds later that Star has decorated her locker with pictures of StarFan13.
  • Vomit Discretion Shot: After the bus crashes, Marco and Ludo stagger to a trash can and take turns sticking their heads in to vomit.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Marco gets pulled onto the bus after warning Star that he gets carsick. It goes From Bad to Worse as he accidentally sits on a chair with wheels and inhales the smell of rotten oysters.
  • Worf Had the Flu: Marco has car sickness while on the bus, and thus can't help Star in the fight against Ludo's minions. He does manage to deliver exactly one karate chop in the entire episode, and while it is clearly a struggle just to get in place, the chop itself is as powerful as ever.

Brittney Wong's birthday party

Brittney Wong is a downright spoiled and rich brat who wouldn't even accept a bag (that is not a designer) as a gift. Not only that, but she completely whipped a laser-eyed dog out of Star's hand that she made for her. Not cool.

How well does it match the trope?
