As Madame Web drags Spider-Man into the Great Battle she forces him to look into her eyes and paralyzing him leaving him to believe she's lured him into a trap however a second powerful being who seems to know Madame Web appears appearing at first to be just a void but once Spider-Man is unparalyzed he assumes a more human form telling to think of him as one from Beyond telling him to call him the Beyonder. Spider-Man has been chosen to lead the ultimate test of good vs evil and which is stronger he chooses a peaceful planet that has never known crime disease hunger war and hatred so the Beyonder decides to introduce these things to them by bringing Dr Doom Dr Octopus The Lizard Red Skull and Alister Smythe to conquer the planet and spread their evil there. Spider-Man is aghast at how the Beyonder had to wreck an entire world to prove that evil is bad saying that for such a powerful being he's a few stars shy of a galaxy Madame Web reveals that Spider-Man will have the pleasure of making all that is wrong right again so they transport him to the planet where he now has a headquarters as well as a transporter to bring the heroes who will help him stop the villains. As Dr Doom is the Fantastic Four's archenemy Spider-Man rightfully assumes that it's only fair to bring them here to help defeat him remembering their last team ups Spider-Man selects Iron Man and Storm from the X-Men and knowing that Captain America is the Red Skull's archenemy he chooses him as the last hero to bring to help defeat him. After the heroes are teleported and demand to know what is going on the Lizard appears out of nowhere to finally destroy Spider-Man once and for all.
