Wendy's sudden arrival puts Jax and Tara's happiness at risk. Opie is planning to take his revenge on Clay, pushing Jax and others away. The Irish Kings arrive in Charming to proceed with the deal, and Otto's deal with Potter puts Bobby in jail.
- Asshole Victim: At this point it is very hard to feel bad for Clay when he gets hospitalized for being shot by Opie after everything he has done in this season.
- Faux Affably Evil: Clay visits Tara and tries to convince her to give him the letters, with his voice dripping with barely concealed menace.
- Gone Horribly Right: Gemma is furious at Unser telling Opie that Clay killed his father and tries to stop him before it's too late.
- People Farms: Galen and the Sons go to one of such place, with Jax and others beating up the guards and wrecking the place.
- Playing Both Sides: Jax plans to make the Irish and the Gallindo blame each other for the drug deal falling through.
- Pragmatic Villainy: Galen and other Kings are disappointed that Clay used their weapons against the Lobos Sonora, putting unwanted attention at them.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Opie intends to kill Clay to avenge Piney and Donna and puts two bullets into him at the end of the episode.
- Shout-Out: Linc Potter calls Jacob Hale "Mayor Quimby".
