Uncle Chuck finds himself increasingly at risk operating as a spy in Robotropolis.

- Cassandra Truth: Antoine genuinely did rescue Sally during a mission, but he plays up the story so much as he's retelling it that it's no wonder Sonic doesn't believe him.
- Cool and Unusual Punishment: Snively tortures Antoine by offending his refined tastes in food: using too much batter for a crepe suzette, and using margarine for escargot instead of butter.
- Crazy-Prepared: Uncle Chuck has a back-up headquarters should his main one be discovered.
- Feed the Mole: Now suspecting a mole in the ranks, Robotnik and Snively uses this to capture the culprit. They eventually capture Uncle Chuck, but Sonic rescues him.
- I Choose to Stay: Uncle Chuck insists on remaining in Robotropolis to continue his spy work for the Freedom Fighters. He only promises to return to Knothole when their fight against Robotnik ends for good.
- Interrogation by Vandalism: Snively tortures Antoine by cooking escargot in margarine.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Sally not only thanks Antoine for saving her life, she calls him brave and kisses him.
- Underside Ride: The Freedom Fighters sneak into Robotropolis by way of riding beneath a hover vehicle with magnets strapped to their hips.
- Weaksauce Weakness: Antoine is being held captive and interrogated by Snively. Antoine insists that Snively can inflict whatever horrors he wants upon the beleaguered coyote — his lips are sealed. Then Snively nearly breaks him... by preparing French cuisine incorrectly.
