Sofia and Chrysta are notified by Snoozle, the Dream Fairy, that someone is going to steal all the magic from the Pixie Cup flower, which means no fairy will ever get a magic wand. In order to catch the thief, Sofia and Chrysta go undercover as fairies earning their magic wands. There's just one thing: Chrysta has taken that test once and failed because she's not delicate, like the other fairies. Sofia teaches her to be delicate, but soon Chrysta forgets about the mission and tries to fit in.

- Call-Back: Sofia mentions that her amulet lets her turn into a mermaid, a power she earned in "The Floating Palace".
- "Eureka!" Moment: Sofia is confused that Snoozle dreamed about "blue butter". But it's not until she finds a plate with crumbs of a scone with blueberry butter that she realizes what the blue butter really is, not to mention who's about to steal the Pixie Cup's magic.
- Palette Swap: In Chrysta's flashbacks, there two fairies that are recolored versions of Amber and Hildegard's sister.
