Book 1 - The Tub of Happiness: BOARDERS!
While the mercenaries were gone, food service commandos took over their ship.
- Auto Doc: An attempt is made to heal the doctor with one he built beforehand. Unfortunately, it just points out that without an intact brain, it can't really do much.
- Felony Misdemeanor: A large squad of armed and armored troops assault a ship because the cook has been touching food with his bare hands. While the commandos were being manipulated by the Partnership Collective, it's made clear that they would have done this of their own volition if the ship really was a restaurant like they thought.
- Field Promotion: Tagon, impressed with Schlock's plan, promotes him to Sergeant. Schlock admits he had no plan and got lucky, so Tagon decides he can just be a Corporal instead.
- Mexican Standoff: Tagon, Breya, and Brad are surrounded by commandos, and everyone has guns out. But the commandos have armor—the only thing they have to lose by shooting first is the moral high ground.
- Unwitting Pawn: The Partnership Collective uses the KFDA commandos to try to get rid of the mercenaries.
