Tropes That Appear In This Chapter:
- Abnormal Ammo: The opening of the chapter involves Miwa asking Donnie to make explosive shuriken, said shuriken becoming important later on when she and her brothers are all trapped in a room full of toxic Kraang atmosphere, blowing a hole into a nearby window.
- Brain Bleach: Raphael has this reaction seeing Kraang putting on their human suits, comparing it to walking in on someone naked.Raph: I need to wash my eyes[.]
- For Want Of A Nail:
- In "TCRI", the turtles suffocate in the Kraang atmosphere long enough for the Kraang to put them in a prison. Here, Miwa blows a hole in a nearby window with the explosive shuriken, allowing them to remain conscious enough to try (and fail) to shut down their portal and make it back to their home to discuss the Kraang's Hostile Terraforming.
- Leatherhead doesn't throw himself into Dimension X.
