In this spoof of Power Rangers, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and SMG4 are recruited by the Great Shigeru Lord to help save Nintendo City from the evil of Dr. Pootis.
Tropes:
- Felony Misdemeanor: Most of Dr. Pootis’s “evil” crimes during his rampage consist of petty things like stealing Frankie’s ice cream, not flushing a toilet, stepping on the grass, and holding up the line at the bank.
- Humongous Mecha: Being a Power Rangers parody, the gang have giant "Mushroom Mechs" to fight Dr. Pootis’s robot. However, Mario leaves Shigeru Lord hanging on the phone before he tells him what they’re supposed to summon, so their mechs take some… interesting forms; Mario summons a plate of spaghetti, Luigi summons a vacuum cleaner, Peach summons a giant pan, Toad summons a bag of Doritos, and SMG4 summons a T-posing Hank Hill.
