When a group of Saradominist monks are slaughtered by an unknown assailant you are asked by the only survivor - a monk who is extremely traumatised - to find the killer and bring them to justice. But there's more to this puzzle than meets the eye, starting with the souls of the dead monks being trapped in their bodies...
This quest contains the following tropes:
- Badass in Distress: Death is kidnapped by Sliske prior to the start of the quest.
- Barred from the Afterlife: Since Death is missing, the souls of the dead monks remain trapped in their bodies, unable to move on to the afterlife. Icthlarin attempts to take over his role until he is found.
- Let's You and Him Fight: Sliske proclaims a "game" among the gods, whereby whoever can amass the most kills of deities can claim the Stone of Jas.
