Already raring to go for more rescues, Jack teams up with Jack to rescue Cephalaspis...plus a few extra sea scorpions. Meanwhile, Leon works to both get over his newly developed fear of the sea scorpions; managing in the process to both make a new friend in Linda's young assistant Yolanda, and dip his toes into unleashing his hidden badass side.
- Big Damn Heroes: The combined effort of Leon, Mia, and a newly rescued Hedetet the Pterygotus proves enough to save Yolanda from getting attacked (and possibly eaten) by a swarm of brontoscorpio.
- Cowardly Lion: Leon unambiguously proves himself as this in time to help save Yolanda.
- Distressed Damsel: Yolanda ends up at risk of becoming sea scorpion food after accidentally getting knocked into the holding tank containing a swarm of newly rescued brontoscorpio.
- Epic Fail: In his panicked attempts at getting the task of feeding all the megalograptus finished as swiftly as possible to avoid spending too much time with them, he only manages to successfully feed TWO...out of FORTY FIVE!
- Let's Get Dangerous!: Very little time passes Yolanda's fall into the tank full of brontoscorpio before Leon dives in to get her out.
- Summon Bigger Fish: Nikolai opens the gate to allow Hedetet to enter the same tank as the brontoscorpio so that Leon and Mia will be able to safely get themselves and Yolanda out while they flee to try to avoid getting eaten by the larger sea scorpion.
- Took a Level in Badass: One of Leon's first genuine moments of this in the series.
