Divatox: OH, you two talk too much. You give me such a migraine! - Chekhov's Gun: During the battle, Divatox is happy that Elgar is doing something right for once. No sooner does Elgar's zord break down, just when the rangers were doomed.
- Near-Villain Victory: Elgar had the Rangers dead to rights and was about to finish them, but because he took off too soon, his Zord breaks down.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here!: When the zord's arm breaks off:Elgar: Uh, I seemed to have dropped something. (picks up the arm) Gotta go! (leaves)
