- Disproportionate Retribution: Syd teases Sky when guarding the diamonds and he replies by emptying his water bottle over her head and laughing at her.
- Foreshadowing: Gruumm when asking Mora for a new plan, threatens her by saying he gave her a special gift and can take it away wherever he wants, and this convinces Mora into helping him.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Sky isn't happy when Kat builds two new motorcycles only for Jack and Bridge.
- Literal-Minded: Gruumm tells Mora he needs her mind, and she initially refuses saying it belongs to her and won't give it up, but Gruumm clarifies he needs her to think of a new plan.
- Power Source: Mora gives Gruumm the idea of stealing diamonds to turn them into this.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Sky, thinking Jack is trying to hog all the glory, leaves his post to protect the diamonds against the latter's orders, allowing the Krybots to take them. Sky isn't happy when he discovers this.
- The Bad Guy Wins: As Sky decided to leave the diamonds unprotected, the Krybots took the opportunity to steal them and Gruumm plans to turn them into a powerful energy source.
- Villain Has a Point: Ringbah tells an arguing Jack and Sky that they couldn't fight him if they're fighting with each other, and Jack sees his point.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Cruger really lets Sky have it for leaving the diamonds unprotected, allowing the Krybots to capture them.
