  • No-Sell: Daggeron's attack doesn't even faze Magma.
Magma: What did you expect from one of the Ten Terrors?
  • Only Sane Man: After getting their butts kicked by Magma the first time around, the teens are on edge and start picking fights with each other (e.g. Vida over Madison's self-pity, Chip over Vida picking on Madison, Xander asking a question). Daggeron yells at them to stop acting like spoiled children and tells them they all have to work together as an effective unit in order to beat the Ten Terrors.

  • Pun: Oculous (a giant cyclops) refers to Necrolai as an "eyesore."
  • The Reveal: Phineas tells Nick that he is the Light, a result of being the son of Leanbow (the greatest of magical warriors) and Udonna (a powerful sorceress). Nick has the potential to be the most powerful wizard of all time and destroy the darkness.

  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Leelee leaves her mother when she becomes obsessed with ruling the world.
  • Secret-Keeper: Freshly hired at Rock Porium, Leelee says she'll keep the Rangers' secret if they keep hers.
  • Skewed Priorities: The other Terrors play it straight, as they are content to ignore the comparatively tiny Necrolai at best and stomp her at worst. Gekkor averts it, suggesting hearing what she has to say about recent events.
  • So Proud of You: As she's departing, Udonna pretty much across the board. She says Claire has been an amazing apprentice, that the four teens have far exceeded her expectations, and that Nick is the kind of man she always wanted her son to be.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Even Toby has his limits and finally calls the teens on how they're always bailing on work at a moment's notice. When it happens again, he hires a new employee to cover their slack.
  • Wham Episode: The Ten Terrors debut, Nick learns about his destiny, and Leelee begins her path to redemption.
  • Wham Line:
    Nick: [realizing] You're leaving.
    Udonna: I am.
  • Wham Shot: Toby introduces the others to the newest employee: Leelee.
  • Why Couldn't You Be Different?: When Leelee says being evil is just not for her, all Necrolai can ask is, "Oh, where did I go wrong?"
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Madison is depressed over what she brings to the group, saying the others do all the impressive stuff and that she has to be rescued. Xander and Chip try to assure her she brings a lot to the group. Of course, she's the one who saves the day during the second fight with Magma.
  • You Keep Telling Yourself That: Nick insists he is not thinking about his father and that he doesn't want to talk about him. Phineas is skeptical, to say the least, but he's smart enough not to push too hard on it.
