The Gate to the Underworld is inadvertently opened, and Morticon is able to come through, forcing the Rangers to fight him. Clare is taken to the Underworld by Koragg, who attempts to drain her power and use it to open the gate completely. While the other four fight Morticon, Nick goes off into the Underworld to get Clare back.
