Ash and Pikachu's Excellent Adventure. Starring Nebby as the phone booth.

As Ash cares for Nebby at the Pokémon School, the twerps soon find out the hard way that it knows Teleport. This makes it a lot easier for Team Rocket to try to get their hands on Nebby, now that they've found out about it.

This episode contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Chekhov's Gun: The scene of Team Rocket hiding themselves in their food truck uniforms is what leads Nebby to teleport right to them.
  • Cold Open: This is the first episode that begins with Lillie recapping the previous episode in her journal.
  • Empathy Pet: Nebby seems to be guided in its Teleports by the memories of the twerps.
  • End-of-Episode Silliness: At the end of the episode, Nebby teleports all the twerps from the beach where Ash and Team Rocket had their confrontation, to the top spire of the Pokémon School. They ended up leaving Rowlet and Charizard behind.
  • Failed a Spot Check: James has no idea what Cosmog is, and thinks Nebby may be a pre-evolution of Koffing. Even though his Field Guide has info on its evolutions. Justified though, as no one has discovered Cosmog before now and as such it would not be listed in a book.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: The sad part is, Team Rocket's malasada truck uniforms aren't really a disguise at all. But Ash fails to realize it's them all the same.
