- Black Comedy Burst: After Alex reveals she killed Aydin in self defense and chopped him into bits and that they're sitting on him right now, Nicky bursts into laughter.
- Deadpan Snarker: Flaca, after seeing Piper bleeding through her arm and thinking she cuts herself.Flaca: And they call me "the emo one".
- Internal Reveal: Piper reveals to Nicky, Alex and Red the swastika branded on her arm. Alex also reveals to them about Aydin being buried in the garden.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Hapakuka thinks this after checking on Piper and seeing her crying in her bunk after being branded.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Cal notices that Piper is saying such nice things to him over the phone, and Alex is genuinely surprised when Piper suddenly agrees to smoke crack with her and Nicky.
- Self-Harm: One of the inmates thinks Piper is doing this when she sees her arm bleeding from being branded. Another comments she should cut herself for what she done to them.
