When K.O. finally gets a Pow Card, it reads level 100, which causes him to become a celebrity. In light of the commotion, Lord Boxman sends Mega Darrell to face K.O. in order to prove his worth.
Tropes:
- Acquired Situational Narcissism: K.O. gets a big head when his Pow Card convinces him he's a level 100 hero and everyone starts praising him. He's brought back down to Earth after a beating from Big Darrell, and the reveal that his Pow Card was glitched and he's actually level 0.
- Bittersweet Ending: While K.O. is disappointed that he was never even close to Level 100, he has gained enough experience to reach Level 0.1, which is a good enough start for his hero journey.
- Foreshadowing: During his initial attempt at fighting Big Darrel, while he still believes he's level 100, K.O.'s energy and eyelids become purple and his teeth become jagged. Later episodes would give these details to his superpowerful alter ego, T.K.O. Coincidentally, T.K.O.'s only one level away from -100 by the time we get to see his power level in "Let's Fight To The End".
- Humongous Mecha: "Big Darrell" is just a giant robot version of Darrell piloted by the original.
- Insane Troll Logic: Lord Boxman creates Big Darrell (piloted by regular Darrell) to be a Level Negative 100 robot, able to match and overpower any Level 100 hero. Near the end, K.O. unknowingly inspires everyone in the plaza to help him beat Big Darrell, as their levels combined just meet Level 100.
- Not So Great Escape: Lord Boxman escapes back to Boxmore in his flying desk, but then it flips over and he falls into the bushes. Then he's forced to run back to Boxmore on foot.
- Pass the Popcorn: Lord Boxman eats popcorn as he watches Big Darrell beat up K.O.
- Percussive Maintenance: Rad and K.O. punch the Pow Card Machine when it starts acting up.
- Synchronized Swarming: All the people at Lakewood Plaza help K.O. defeat Big Darrell by gathering together to form a giant arm to punch the menacing robot.
