KO decides to help Ginger recapture her glory days.

Tropes:

  • A Day in the Limelight: The episode focuses on one of Carol's students, Ginger.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Ginger warns K.O. against the "double cross", assuring him that she wouldn't do that to him. In the end, it's revealed that not only was Ginger double crossing K.O., but that K.O. and the rest of the dojo were double crossing her as well... as a favor, because she loves double crosses so much.
  • Fountain of Youth: Ginger plans to steal the Ponce, a special candy that makes you younger for ten minutes.
  • The Heist: Ginger and K.O. plan to steal a power candy from the Lakewood Museum.
  • I Know You Know I Know: When Ginger double-crosses K.O., it turns into a ridiculous battle of double cross one-upmanship, with twists such as Ginger and K.O. being disguised as one another.
  • I Was Quite the Looker: Ginger looks tall and beautiful in her flashback. However, when she eats the Ponce, her younger self looks just as dumpy as her old self. Even though, K.O. says that "she's more beautiful than I ever imagined!"
  • Meaningful Name: The Ponce is named after Juan Ponce de León, the adventurer who lead the first European expedition to Florida in search of the Fountain of Youth.
  • Not So Great Escape: Ginger and K.O. try to escape with a jet-powered umbrella, but they miss the skylight and hit the ceiling instead.
  • So Much for Stealth: Ginger tries to cut open the glass case holding the Ponce, but it shatters instead, awakening the guard.
  • Transformation Sequence: Ginger after eating the candy. Subverted when her final transformation isn't that different to her regular look. The only thing that changed was her grey hair going back to her red hair.
  • Unfolding Plan Montage: Ginger provides a voice-over explaining her plan as she and K.O. carry it out.
