Go To

Airdate: May 21, 2018

Separated by the crash of the Destiny's Bounty, Lloyd and Harumi try to progress through the jungle, while the ninja attempt to repair the ship, only to make not one but two alarming discoveries.

Tropes:

  • Ash Face: Attempts to repair the Bounty get the ninja covered in soot.
  • …But He Sounds Handsome: Midway through their trek, Harumi tells Lloyd the ninja's most dangerous enemy isn't Garmadon, or Morro or even Pythor. Rather, it's "the one you don't see". She's obliquely talking about herself.
  • Chekhov's Gun: In the previous episode, P.I.X.A.L. had begun running a trace on Mister E's call to the Quiet One which the gang forgot about with all the drama. On booting up the ship, it turns out the computer had still been running the trace, and found where it went.
  • Everything Trying to Kill You: First, the episode begins with Lloyd and Harumi running from a T-Rex like thing. Then Lloyd nearly gets eaten by a tree, then they're chased by a giant lobster.
  • Explain, Explain... Oh, Crap!: The ninja, when they learn where Mr. E's call to his boss went; namely, the Destiny's Bounty. And the only people on the ship at the time were them... and Harumi.
  • Improbable Aiming Skills: In order to save Lloyd, Harumi — who up until now has had every appearance of being a sheltered princess, and before that a totally ordinary girl — is able to throw a sword, when she had said she didn't know how to use one at all, and with enough accuracy and force to sever a tree root. Lloyd appropriately questions this, but Harumi manages to shut him up with a kiss.
  • Inevitable Waterfall: Naturally, Lloyd and Harumi run into one.
  • Outscare the Enemy: Killow and Ultra-Violet manage to convince the other Sons into going into the jungle by explaining that the Quiet One will do worse to them if they don't.
  • Rage Against the Mentor: Thinking he's not there, Jay describes Wu as being like a fortune cookie... which never tells anyone anything.
  • Rapid Aging: The baby's suddenly able to walk. And talk. And correct the ninja when they don't use his title. Trying to figure out how this happened, Kai and Nya recall Wu had been hit by the Blade of Reversal when last seen, so it must have reversed his aging, and once it wore off he's aging up again as compensation. ... just go with it.
  • Something Only They Would Say: "Cole Junior"'s fondness for tea is a tip-off, but when Jay huffily declares he quits, the baby speaks for the first time by saying ninja never quit.
  • Traitor Shot: The last shot of the episode is a zoom in on Harumi, standing behind Lloyd, as she starts to smirk.
  • Wham Episode: The halfway point of the season comes with the double-whammy of of who the baby is, and just who the Quiet One is, and has been all along.
