In the wake of the Great Devourer's defeat, the ninja are looking for a home while training Lloyd to defeat Lord Garmadon. Meanwhile, Lord Garmadon has assumed leadership of the Serpentine, leaving Skales and the other generals to find a way to steal back the snakes' loyalty.
This episode provides examples of:
- All Your Powers Combined: Garmadon combines the four Golden Weapons into the Mega Weapon.
- Big Damn Heroes: Wu and Nya managed to save Lloyd from Skales and get him arrested.
- Brought Down to Normal: While normally the Ninja would be able to use their powers without the Golden Weapons, their overreliance on the Golden Weapons has left them unable to. It takes until near the end of the season for them to recover their powers, and even then it takes until Season 3 to be able to use their powers independent of weaponry again.
- Facial Horror: While Zane is making sushi for a couple and their child his face (specifically the area that sustained damage suring the previous episode) starts to peel off.
