Recap / Napo In Best Signs Story

Go To
The first film in the Napo series provides a basic introduction to health and safety signs and symbols found in the workplace.

Best Signs Story provides examples of the following tropes:

  • Animate Inanimate Object: The signs can move and have arms.
  • Can't You Read the Sign?: As the film is about obeying signs, naturally this trope comes into play through all of it.
  • Covered in Mud: As Napo drives past a warning sing, he accidentaly splashes it with mud.
  • Dancing Theme: In the opening, the signs jump and dance to the beat of the theme.
  • Everything Dances: The film opens with the signs following Napo and breaking into a dance.
  • Faint in Shock: After a crate falls in front of him, Napo faints and falls backwards.
  • Iris Out: What most of the scenes end with.
  • Safety Gear Is Cowardly: Despite the sign's warnings, Napo keeps going into the construction site without protection until a crate almost falls on him.
  • Wingding Eyes: After getting flashed by a bright light, Napo's eyes turn into spirals.
