A dust-up in Ponyville plus an escaped Cerberus equals quite the ruckus for our favorite fillies! When Princess Celestia requests a dog sitter for the high-spirited canine, the task falls to the least-likely of ponies: Rarity! It's going to take some dog-dog-dogged determination, a bit of hard work, and a whole lot of patience to figure this whole dog thing out... but it's sure to be a pawsitively wild adventure!

- This isn't the first time Cerberus left his post.
- Sweetie Belle points out that Rarity can sometimes be "a real monster" when she's working too hard.
- Contrived Coincidence: Rarity is the only member of the Mane Six who doesn't have immediate important business to keep them from dogsitting Cerberus.
- Dog Walks You: At one point, Rarity puts a leash on Cerberus, and tries to take him for a walk. Cue Cerberus running around, with Rarity hanging onto the leash for dear life.
- Gilligan Cut: Before returning to Cerberus, Rarity assures her friends that it will take more than "an overgrown puppy" to defeat her. In the very next panel, she has this to say:Rarity: I give up! You win! What was I thinking?!
- Immediate Self-Contradiction: When Rarity is being dragged around while trying to walk Cerberus, she yells for him to stop, then switches to telling him "don't stop" when she finds herself swinging over a cliff edge.
- It's All About Me: During the initial search for Cerberus, Rarity wants the job done quickly so she can get back to work.
- Messy Hair: Rarity's mane is greatly messed up after her disastrous attempt to take Cerberus for a walk.
- "Not So Different" Remark: Thanks to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Rarity realizes she and Cerberus are this, since they both have jobs they were meant to do, but can sometimes be bored by their work.
- Off Screen Moment Of Awesome: Celestia was able to find and return Cerberus to the gates of Tartarus all by herself.

- When Twilight asks Rarity how looking after Cerberus went, Rarity replies, "It. Was. The pits."
- After being pushed to her limits by Cerberus, she tells him, "You. Are. A. Bad dog."
- Rule of Three: While being dragged around by Cerberus, Rarity says "stop" and "don't stop" three times each.
- Synchronized Swarming: When Rarity tries to get help from Fluttershy, a group of fireflies take on various shapes to indicate that Fluttershy isn't at her cottage, and they don't know when she'll be back.
- Troll: When Rarity tries to get out of looking after Cerberus by claiming she has to make a special hat for a client, Pinkie Pie smirkingly points out that the hat isn't expected until Hearth's Warming.
