Draggle misread the spell, turning the deadly landslide into a land pie, which backfires and throws mud on the witches. Reeka and Draggle give up and go home, and after ensuring the Sunstone is safe the Little Ponies and Bushwoolies head home as well, as the sun is going to set soon. Honeysuckle wants to be proactive and stop the witches, but Morning Glory's confident things will be fine.
Unfortunately, things aren't fine, and as Hydia punishes her daughters' failure she calls upon her long-dead relatives to come up with a plan for revenge. The plan they come up with involves the bees of Bumbleland, led by Queen Bumble. The bees will capture the Flutter Ponies and steal the Sunstone, letting the witches move in, as Flutter Valley will wilt and die without it. Reeka and Draggle are dispatched to find Bumble, and get her to agree with the plan. Meanwhile as the Little Ponies head home they find fuzzy doglike creatures called the Furbobs. They're cousins of the Bushwoolies who live in fear of their mortal enemies, the Stonebacks, who chase them from every home. Just then, the Stonebacks appear and attack, eating at the bridge everyone's on...
This episode contains examples of:
- The Dividual: While normally played straight with Bushwoolies, this episode provides an aversion by giving them unique names and character traits. It doesn't stick, though.
- Endless Winter: Bumbleland is completely frozen over and Queen Bumble claims she has to import everything.
- Innocent Bystander: The ponies, bushwoolies and Spike just happen to get caught on the bridge with furbobs right when stonebacks decided to chew the bridge away from under furbobs.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Furbobs actually agree on something, it's a clear sign that something is wrong.
- Patchwork Map: Bumbleland is perpetually locked in a very cold, eternally frozen climate despite only being within a walking distance from Volcano of Gloom or Flutter Valley.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Hot-tempered Honeysuckle is the red oni, while sweet, kind Morning Glory is the blue oni.
- Shout-Out: Hydia's deceased ancestors step down from their picture frames.
- Villain Team-Up: The witches ally with a new force, Queen Bumble and her minions, in order to try to conquer Flutter Valley.
