It seems as though Sir Nighteye's team has finally put a stop to Overhaul, but the villain has a few more tricks up his sleeve.

- Dynamic Entry: With the hideout warped as it is, Deku casually bursts through a wall blocking their way and sucker-punches Overhaul.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Once more seeing Heroes risk their lives for her sake, Eri tries to convince Overhaul to leave them alone if she surrenders. However, Midoriya refuses to let that happen and vows to change both their fates.
- Hope Spot:
- Chisaki is helpless as Aizawa disables his Quirk, and Sir Nighteye reunites with Togata and secures Eri. Just as Aizawa and Midoriya prepare to apprehend Overhaul, his ally Hari Kurono intervenes while he fuses with Nemoto, healing his injuries and tipping the scales in his favor.
- Subverted in the end. It seems as Midoriya is overwhelmed by the fused Overhaul, Sir Nighteye and Lemillion are gravely injured, and Eri is willing to give herself up once again to save them. As Midoriya prepares to fight once more, Ryukyu's group comes crashing down from above as they defeat another one of Overhaul's allies.
- One-Winged Angel: Overhaul breaks down Nemoto's body and fuses it with his own, taking on a monstrous multi-armed appearance with a gaping beak formed from his mask.
- The Reveal: Sir Nighteye had used his Foresight Quirk on Midoriya during his test for a spot in his Agency, but it's here that we learn he had anticipated the boy's death to happen where they are. Despite telling him this, Midoriya refuses to give up.
