Villains have attacked USJ, and it's up to Class 1-A to stop them. What are the villains after? Will All Might be able to save the day again?
Tropes:
- Broke Your Arm Punching Out Cthulhu: Midoriya manages to get it down to two fingers this time while fending off a group of villains.
- Cowardly Lion: Mineta spends most of the episode bawling in terror, yet his sticky balls come in handy containing the water villains in the end.
- Didn't Think This Through: The villains did plan out how to deal with the teachers but while they had access to the school systems they failed to research the students of Class 1-A and their powers. This causes them no end of trouble over this and subsequent episodes as the kids punch holes in the plan.
- Dudley Do-Right Stops to Help: Literally: All Might burned through so much energy helping random civilians that he's out of the picture when the villains attack.
- I'm Standing Right Here: Kurogiri snarks at heroes discussing their plan to have Ida run for help in such close proximity to him.
- Magic A Is Magic A: Tsuyu's powers are literally "being a frog". Swimming, jumping, climbing walls, a prehensile tongue, and a lot of gross mucus-related tricks. She also apparently has their weaknesses, as she mentions that being in a burning building, as opposed to a sinking ship, would probably have killed her.
- Non-Mammal Mammaries: When Tsuyu rescues him, Mineta goes from talking about her boobs to wondering why a frog-based superhero even has them. It's important, however, to note that Tsu is a human with frog-like traits
- Personality Powers: Mineta is a pervert who fights using the sticky balls that grow out of his head, and Tsuyu has frog powers because of her frog traits.
- Skewed Priorities: Mineta is afraid to die, and more importantly, afraid to die without feeling up his other female classmates.
- Spanner in the Works: Shigaraki wants to kill All Might, but he's not in the USJ, causing the villain's plan to delay. Unfortunately, since All Might is the strongest Pro Hero in the faculty, he's not here to decimate the League of Villains, leaving Aizawa, Thirteen, and the Class 1-A students to fend for themselves.
- Thanks for the Mammary: After being saved by Tsuyu, Minoru rubs his head onto her breasts. He gets thrown onto the nearby ship as a result.
- This Looks Like a Job for Aquaman: Izuku realizes that the villains knew the USJ, knew the schedule, knew which teachers would be on call — but had no idea about the students or their Quirks. If they had, they would never have sent Tsuyu into the water biome when they could easily have killed her in the burning zone next door.
- Too Much Information: When discussing which powers will get them out of an ambush, Tsuyu lists jumping, clinging to walls, a prehensile tongue... and the ability to turn her stomach inside out.
- Wham Episode: The League of Villains begin their attack on USJ, forcing the students into their first life-and-death battle against villains.
- What Would X Do?: Part of Midoriya's plan against the water villains involves mimicking Bakugo, if only as a distraction.
