Recap / Moshi Monsters Missing On A Star

Go To

Missing on a Star is the nineteenth Moshi Monsters mission and the ninth mission of Season Two.

It begins with you escaping the asteroid from the previous mission and arriving at a sinister-looking space station. The Rhapsody 2 is there, but the Zoshlings are nowhere in sight. (If you see an E.P.I.C.S. floating in space, click on it). Then, talk to Sprockett and Hubbs. Apparently, the Zoshlings got captured (but the robots didn't because they were hiding in trash bins) and the robots' scanners indicate that the Zoshlings are in Cell Block F. A Glump guard is by the door, sleeping. He has a key. There are two buttons, one marked "power" and one marked "suck", but they don't stay on. Click on Sprockett and Hubbs to ask for help. Hubbs suggests rerouting the system, but Sprockett suggests just holding down one button while the Super Moshi presses the other, and that's the plan that sticks. While they hold down the power button, click the suck button. The Glump guard gets sucked into a pipe, so grab the key. The robots let you leave. Open your inventory (the blue pouch on the far right) and drag the key onto the round door. A mini Moshiphone is there, who tells you that there are lots of Moshlings trapped next door and that s/he escaped but there are mutant glump sharks guarding them and you need to free them. Sprockett and Hubbs' scanners are apparently reading a huge amount of odd Glump activity next door. Ask what to do. Hubbs says to find de-glump goo and put it into the escape pod's blaster. Click the mug, open your inventory, and drag the mug onto the green fluid with the no-glumps-allowed sign on it. Now, drag the mug of goo into the blaster.

Now, click the door to leave. Click the Mutant Glump Sharks to de-glump them. Once they're all de-glumped, click the two cells of Moshlings to free them and then click on the icy cell.

In there, it is freezing and Tomba's there. Apparently, he was kidnapped with a jackhammer moshling named Judder who was frozen in ice due to breaking multiple objects. Click on what seems to be a meter of some sort. It's a cartoony thermostat with a broken pointer. Click the green X to close, and then talk to Tomba again. Ask if he knows what C.L.O.N.C. are up to. He doesn't know. Now ask how he got captured. He only remembers a bright light. Finally, ask if you can borrow his nose. He asks why you need it and tell him that you need it to help free Judder. Drag the nose onto the thermostat, then click to turn it all the way up. This melts the ice but it melts Tomba too, so turn it back down and pick up Tomba's nose and open your inventory and drag it onto Tomba. This earns you an E.P.I.C.S. Talk to Judder. He seems a bit out of sorts (he thinks it's the flu) but he thinks chicken soup will cure him. Find a dead chicken, some peas and noodles, open your inventory and drag them into the pot. Now, click the pot, open your inventory and drag it onto Judder. He's cured instantly. Ask where the Zoshlings are and he says that they are being held in the cell block next to them. Click on him and he digs into the next cell.

De-Glump all the Mutant Glump Sharks. Now, enter the next cell. The Zoshlings are being held captive and a bespectacled Glump is there. Talk to him. Pretend that you're a janitor. He sets up a game show called the Squeal of Fortune to play. Click on him and he will ask your name. Click on any of the fake names. You have to answer questions and get Zoshlings as pets. Answer the first question: What was the name of the hotel Frau Now BrownKau was stationed at? (Sandy Drain Hotel). Click on the squares to reveal the letter S (for saved a Zoshling because First Officer Ooze is now free). Now, answer question two: If you find Mr Snoodle on the C.L.O.N.C. star, what do you do? (Put him in the Glumpatron 3000, not that you'd actually do that). Now, click the squares to reveal the letter R (for rescued another Zoshling as Sputnik is now free). Now answer the third question: what colour was Fishlips's hat? (green). This gives you an E.P.I.C.S. Now, answer the fourth question: Which C.L.O.N.C. member went undercover at Cirque du Bonbon? (Sweet Tooth). Click on the squares to reveal the letter F (for another Zoshling freed, as Dr C Fingz is now free). Finally, answer what to do if you can't afford an item at Yukea (steal the item). Click the remaining squares to reveal the letter A and the word is "Sassafras". This frees Captain Squirk and you win. Apparently, Sassafras is a mean commander and he shows up now. Click to leave.

Now, click to fire at Sassafras and use the mouse to dodge bombs. After the battle, click to speak to Strangeglove on the view screen. Strangeglove starts to gloat, but his leader silences him, saying that he's lucky to be there, but he will destroy the Moshi world by using a satellite to melt Mt. Sillimanjaro. Now, you can adopt Judder. The mission ends, to be continued.
