Recap / Moshi Monsters Lost In Hong Bong

Go To

Lost in Hong Bong is a Moshi Monsters mission not connected to any season. As of this writing, it can be played by clicking on Elder Furi at the volcano, although that may change.

Click on him, he tells you that Captain Buck is missing and asks you to help. Click on "yes", and he tells you to come inside the volcano.

In the volcano, Elder Furi tells you that he found a strange message in a bottle while sunbathing on Bleurgh Beach. He then shows you the message: GAARGH! We be SHIPNAPPED! Help! I found this (points to a coin) P.S. Look for a warm welcome ..... Buck. Click the green X to close the message. You suggest that the Ghost Pirates would know, so he sends you on your way, with the note and the coin.

In the Gooey Galleon, talk to Captain Codswallop (he's the ghost pirate with the blue beard). Ask to be taken to Hong Bong Island. He accepts, but only if there is treasure there. He then asks you to show him a gold coin. Drag the coin out of the inventory (which can be opened or closed by clicking your blue pouch) and drag him the coin. Apparently, he cannot sail the ship without the help of Mavis (the wooden unicorn) but she says she's too dirty to sail. She asks for the seaweed taken off her because she's embarrassed that the other boats will view her negatively if she sails while dirty and she is dirty because the ghost pirates don't clean her. Click the seaweed to take it off. Mavis thanks you, but thinks she smells bad. To clean her, take a mop and bucket, open your inventory and drag them onto her. She then tells you that some ghost pirates might have been playing with her make up, so she tells you to go to the crows' nest and get it back. Click the rope ladder.

In the crows' nest, McScruff has lipstick sloppily on his face and Mr. Mushy Peas is covered in lipstick marks. There is an E.P.I.C.S. on a cloud. Click on McScruff. He tells you that he will only give you the makeup if he gets fed. Open your inventory and give him the seaweed to eat. Now, click the rope ladder to come back.

On the deck, open your inventory and drag the makeup onto Mavis.

They then set off for Hong Bong. When they're there, the pirates leave. Click the parrot to get an E.P.I.C.S. Then, get the third one by using the gold coin to buy it from the shopkeeper. There is a note on the welcome sign. It reads: GREAT PIECES OF EIGHT! Ye solved the first part! Talk to WOBBLESAN. He may be holding some information most FORTUNATE. Buck Close it, then click on the shopkeeper. After talking to him, open your inventory and drag the clue onto him to show him. He then tells you that "the one-eyed purple one" told him to give you this, and gives you another note: AHOY! me an' the CLOUDY CLOTH be close at hand. Arrange all me secret notes to reveal A FINAL CLUE!!!!! Buck. Your monster then tells you to put the pieces together. Use the mouse to put them together. On the back of the clues, it says: The Lanterns hold the secret. 1. YELLOW. 2. RED. 3. BLUE. Click the switches to turn the lanterns on. When they're on, butterflies fly away to reveal Captain Buck's ship, shrunken and in a bottle. You then tell Buck that a Zoshling could help.

Suddenly, you're in the clearing. Click on First Officer Ooze (he's the snaillike one). He lets you use Cosmic Goo. Open your inventory and use the goo on Buck. It works. He then gives you a code (BUCKISBACK).
