Saji goes to the morgue to confirm that a murder victim is indeed Kinue. When Saji sees Kinue's face, he collapses into tears.
Ribbons begins hacking into Veda's mainframe. Alejandro has Laguna killed for outliving his usefulness. Sumeragi has Feldt and Christina work on freeing their equipment from Veda's control. Tieria is concerned about the GN-Xs and how someone has compromised Veda, but Lockon assures him that Sumeragi will see them through this. Tieria points out that Sumeragi's past shows that she's incompetent, but as far as Lockon sees it, Sumeragi only made a mistake, one that she is already atoning for. Lockon implies that he knows that Tieria is not human, but before Tieria can ask about that, Allelujah tells them that Sumeragi has ordered the Meisters to go on standby. Setsuna has a dream where Marina tells him that he doesn't have to fight anymore.
Sergei, Soma, and the rest of the HRL GN-X team track the Trinities to their base, although the Trinities are prepared for a fight. Meanwhile, the Union and AEU GN-Xs attack Ptolemios.
Saji meets with Kinue's boss, who tells him that Kinue was investigating Celestial Being when she was killed. As the Ptolemios Meisters fight off the GN-Xs, their Gundams become disconnected from Veda, shutting them down until Feldt and Christina's countermeasures can go into effect. Alejandro explains the Ribbons that the U.N. Forces need to triumph over Celestial Being and to do that, the original GN Drives must be destroyed. Setsuna has another vision of Marina telling him that he can stop fighting, but Setsuna refuses. Exia reactivates, as do Dynames and Kyrios. However, Tieria's dependence on Veda causes a glitch that prevents Virtue from switching to the Veda-free system. Patrick moves to finish off Tieria, but Lockon dives in front of his beam saber. Lockon is severely injured. Patrick makes another attempt to finish Tieria, but Lasse shows up in the GN Arms, causing the U.N. forces to retreat.
Alejandro is impressed that Sumeragi predicted his attempt to cut off the Meisters access to Veda. The leaders of the three power blocs are pleased to hear of how powerful the GN-Xs are: the age of Gundams is over.
