Having overcome the spell Rita and Zedd had over her, Katherine gets the unconscious Kimberly to the hospital after her collapse. This selfless act frees her from evil control, and soon Kat confesses her wicked ways to Kim and the Rangers. Can they forgive her, or will they let Rita and Zedd reclaim Kat when they send the Garbage Mouth monster to Earth? Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull try to get closer to busting Gunthar by pretending to be gymnasts.

- Call-Back: While helping Katherine overcome her guilt, Tommy mentions how he was once under Rita's spell.
- Easily Forgiven: The Rangers forgive Katherine for her actions as Rita and Zedd's spy. Justified in that they know it wasn't her fault.
- Heroes' Frontier Step: A variant: Katherine saving Kimberly after she falls and gets knocked out is considered such a selfless and noble act that it completely breaks Rita's evil spell on her.
- Internal Reveal: Kimberly as well as the other Rangers learn from Kat about her being a spy for Rita and Zedd.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Kat while sitting in the waiting room.
