Go To

With the Command Center shut down by Billy, and Adam and Tommy preparing to beat each other to a pulp, Aisha must give up the only thing keeping her free of the hate spell to stand a chance of stopping her teammates. But with the Hate Master still on the prowl, can Aisha reach her friends in time? Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull discover the identity of the Graffiti Bandit is a lot closer than they realized!

Tropes:

  • Evil Is Petty: Under the Hate Plague, Billy creates a device to cut off the Command Center's power including the backup generators. He smugly asks nobody, "Am I good or what?" His only good reasoning was so that Zordon wouldn't bother him with orders anymore, but that logic falls flat considering he gave up his communicator in the last episode.
  • Guilt by Association Gag: While Skull was responsible for the graffiti on Ernie's wall, Ernie has Bulk clean it along with him.
  • Heroic Spirit: Aisha resits the Hate Master's spell when she realizes that she can't let those feelings control her and her grandmother taught her better than that.
  • Heroic Will Power: Aisha demonstrated strong force of will when she didn't give in to Hate Master's spell.
  • "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: Aisha was able to get to Tommy and Adam in time before they fought then reminded them along with the rest of the Rangers that their friends. Hearing Aisha's voice, Billy was able to get out of the spell long enough to give her the Jamming device and for Alpha to use a device he created in order to get it out of them.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Veronica is mentioned to have been kicked out of the Angel Girls club after the other members realized she was only inviting others based on their families' incomes.
  • Mundane Solution: Aisha manages to work out how she and Alpha can get her out of the Command Center after the 'corrupted' Billy shut its power off; they use Alpha as a temporary independent power source for the teleporter.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: In retaliation for turning them against each other, the Rangers absolutely tore into Hate Master with their individual Zord attacks.
  • Noodle Incident: Skull mentions that he's painted in his sleep before, having spray painted his whole house once.
  • The Power of Love: Aisha was able to resist Hate Master's spell without the necklace she got from her grandmother through love as she remembers that it conquers all.
  • Sleepwalking: Eugune Skullovitch, aka the Graffiti Bandit.
  • Unexpected Character: Tommy calls upon Titanus, the Dino-era Carrier Zord, in the battle with Hate Master.
